Rod bags

I've just been on Hopkins and Holloway's site, and they sell rod bags at about £6 a pop.
After some of the prices people were mentioning on the B.James replica bag thread, I just thought you ought to know.
BTW Steve Parton will run up bags for not much more than that, or used to, last time I looked.

Thrift is traditional, is't it?

I got an H&H rod bag for my Holdwell, because it came without one. The material is slightly thinner than the original twill but good enough to protect the rod, especially inside a holdall.

I have in the past knocked up a bag and reel bag from some tough cotton. In fact I still have one of each even though they are about 20 years old.

I have also just knocked up a bag for my Trudex from some old cotton jersey (daughters pyjama trousers). Just a small drawstring bag, but it will do a turn
