Andy Batchelor Landing Net Christened
Finally managed a morning out on a local lake last week and christened my lovely Andy Batchelor landing net!
I look forward to many more trips out with it.
cheers Andy!

Lovely net but l think you should have gone up a couple of sizes

Yes, the net is beautiful. The Altex – is it a wartime black MkIV? It looks like new.

Re: Andy Batchelor Landing Net Christened
hello gents! thanks for your lovely comments..
the altex is a No 2 MK V
i was lucky enough to purchase a pair in the same condition.
if your interested, i use the landing net with a MK IV style handle when fishing with the dickie! and also a beautifully crafted scottie handle to match my pair
of scottie carp rods......

You've some wonderful gear but I still love that first picture of the big but beautifully proportioned carp most of all.
Given you have a pair I presume you like the Scottie Carp rods – how do you think it compares to MkIV style rods?
