Out of interest how does Barder compare to the best in the US?

If you would like to know what other other top notch makers get up to, I will travel over to the rod-making section...

A few years back the owner of the US classic tackle firm West Slope Fly had Barder on his books, no mean feat since he was the dealer for many of the world's finest cane rods and bench reels with more than an 8 years wait.
Rick had Barder's rods on offer for close to £4000!!

Well my B.James Kennet Perfection was restored by Edward Barder (in the days when he undertook rod restorations) so I feel I already have the best of both worlds.
