There is two spots available on Nicks week for the first week of the season. Places are offered to people who have never fished redmire before initially. First cone first served. Prices if both places are filled will be 600 pounds- Friday to Friday. As far as first weeks go it looks good; fish just spawned, full week, good company! Not really, earliest I fished was one night at the end of June with len arbrey (blanked). The first week would be lovely, but i can't afford that! I have a 5 dayer every year and usually have a go if there is no one on it for whatever reason. After seeing the size of some of the fish this close season I'm champing at the bit. There was one common that looked spectacular- a conservative guess would be mid thirty. Doubt it'll get caught though! They never do!

Yes, the new cane rod I shall be christening whilst there.
You can catch some too on your special new rod, but the big girls are mine!!! :thumb:
