Picked up this rod recently, advertised as a Martin James Spinning rod. It has diamond whipping along its full length ( not sure if its copper whipping or not ) the reel rings have "S" and "L" on them indications for small and large cut outs for the reel foot, short cork handle with a white butt button, quite a nice little rod, has anyone any info on these rods ?

My Spinversa has those type of reel fittings with 1&2 on them and if my memory serves me right the criss cross copper whipping was a Fosters of Ashbourne idea.
