Old Man River and I have been conspiring in an attempt to provide ourselves with cane landing net handles. David supplied the cane and I supplied the brass, hardware that is not cash! My net has a two section handle so it fits in the pocket on my holdall, it ended up at 6 ft long. I had intended it to be longer but I had an accident whilst straightening the cane and wrecked the top section. However it works well as a 4' lower section and 2' top section so I am happy with the end result. Here's some pics:
First outing today but sadly not christened and I now have to think about a traditional net head to go with it!
