Touch legering

I have been browsing an old photo album and came across these 2 photo's of me about age 7, circa 1950. I think that they were taken at Weymouth. The lady in one of the pictures is my late Mum who would have been around 40 years old at the time. I cannot remember seeing these snaps before but used one in my first book that is similar and would have been taken at the same time.

Quite obviously I was touch legering at a very early age! :Ok:

Great pictures Bob, you haven't changed a bit mate and you're still using the same method. :Thumb:

Clarks sandals - the specimen hunter's choice. :Hahaha: We all had to wear them when we were kids. Mind you, I'm surprised they were around back when you were a sprog Bob, I thought you wore wraps of animal skin back then :Chuckle:

Seriously mate, great pictures. I wish I had few more of me as a young 'un learning which way around to hold the rod. :Thumb:

Love it Brookes! The wet spot around the bollard reveals something else. You must have had caught something. Maybe that 'thing' has pulled you in forcing you to swap your clothes? :Chuckle:
Fear I am a bit too young to have such pictures of my own.

I actually stated on my post about fishing with Bob on the River Trent that he was seventy odd going on seven, and that first picture captures it all.

Hasn’t changed much height wise either :Hahaha:
