Got dark got cold. Candle in jam jar .the silver paper indicator .even a tiny landing net .freezing cold huddled under a poncho.Ants rod was pulled of the rest he grabed it started winding must have been out all of 40 ft..I can't feel Anything.keep Winding I screamed .got the landing net .bike torch shining in water out of the water came this Almighty Rat.Ran straight at use.I dropped the net .torch and ran.ant dropped the rod and was rooted to the spot.Ratty carried on up the bank .we found the rod..and ant threw a match on the line .we packed up and cycled home Our First Nite .
