I have a very nice 12' Constable Superb and wonder if anyone uses one of these for Barbel fishing?

Has anyone re-ringed one with low bells rings for this purpose?

Any comments on the above would be very much appreciated.

I did have a near mint example of this rod, but to be honest I found it too heavy to comfortably hold or use for trotting. I sold it for that reason. With regard to it’s suitability for barbel, it is certainly powerful enough!
