Intrepid Elite bail spring?

Hello Everyone,
This is my first posting on the excellent Traditional Fisherman's Forum.
Would anyone be able to advise on how to replace the bail spring (and arm) on a K.P. Morritts Intrepid Elite please? In particular, the angle of manipulation in order to tension the spring.
I've steipped it down, cleaned and greased, but I'll put a new (donated) spring in before giving it a whirl on a Milbro Mace or Sealey Black Arrow.
Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
Regards Cat.

Hello Cat

Don't know if this helps. I think all depends on what ball arm type it is. Some photo's of your ball arm might help. Some of the more knowledgeable members might be able to help.

All sorted...thank you. There are big(ish) fish now trembling at the prospect of an Elite / Black Arrow combo!
