Pike sized DAM?

I really like DAM reels and have a Finessa and a couple of Quick Standards.
The black crackle finish somehow seems perfectly matched to a cane rod.
I’m looking for one to partner a pike rod.
Any model recommendations?

any 330 or 285 (Finessa) will do. Bigger does not make any sense in my opinion. You could want a 220 though  That one has even more traditional touch. But very hard or pricy to get a good example.
Personally I'd go with these reels. I use my 330's with metal spools and would go with those. I also have two good examples of 220's with plastic spools in good nick. BUT:
I also heard of a 220N model which was a minter and the plastic spool broke due to line pressure. In any case I would only use mono with the plastic spools and wouldn't challenge the clutch too much with a runner on it.

I concur with the above...330's are lovely reels, made from Panther tank left overs. 220"s are lovely too, but as well as now being pricey (unless lucky), parts are particularly difficult to source - it took me months to find a bail arm cam, and that's with a Sister in Law living in the U.S. 220, however, will be adequate. I have a 440 waiting for me in Cornwall, courtesy of S-i-L, so can't comment as yet, but the Super (similar size to 550) is a beast of a reel, made from King Tiger tank armour and may damage a shoulder. (Great reel though...no prisoners taken!).
As well as having a couple of 330's and a 220 as my 'go-to' reels, I have a 330n and a 220n, but OT may be correct in them not seeming quite as durable, but I've never tested the clutches on runners.
Remember to grease the bearings...give a strip down, clean and oil / grease!

The 330 reels are bulletproof and well up to a pike...even a big carp.

I have a 550 and, in my opinion, would be a great pike reel.

Apologies...English satire complimentary of German engineering standards.
