Thanks Mike, This is sad news, Ellen provided a great service for a long time! If the family illness caused some delay in her usual service, it is perfectly understandable. Thank you Ellen, I will treasure the bags that I have from you!MrCrabtree wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 9:29 am Just to advise you all that I have received an email from Ellen and due to illness within the family she has now stopped making rod bags for the foreseeable future.

Try https://www.rodcraftsman.com/rod-accessories.
I recently had two bags made after seeing some examples and talking to Wendy at Redditch tackle fair, and I'm very pleased with them.
Good quality material, nicely finished, plus they offer an embroidery service.

Re: Rod bags
There were 2 sellers on that auction site making them - made to measure at very reasonable prices - gone I am afraid!

Re: Rod bags
I'll have a chat with a friend of mine, she may be interested in making rod bags. She's retired from full-time work and has done some superb repairs to various bits of clothing for me.

Re: Rod bags
I had a few bags made by a friend who manufactures work clothing.I supplied a few to others on the TFF a few months back at a reasonable price. What did they think of them as he may be prepared to make some more.He can keep the price low as he uses off cuts from the huge rolls he uses to make workwear. The ones I am using were very well made.

Re: Rod bags
Very sad to report that the delightful Wendy Ward has passed away. I had a seriously good bag made by her a number of years ago complete with embroidered rod name on it.Trevor wrote: ↑Sun Sep 29, 2019 3:16 pmTry https://www.rodcraftsman.com/rod-accessories.
