Proper float rubbers....

Does anyone know if the old fashioned soft float rubbers can still be sourced from anywhere, I don't like the harder silicone ones that I can only find nowadays. I would love to get a few little white packets with all the different colours and sizes in.

Would anything like this suffice?

I have been using cable sleeve like in the link above for a while as it was readily available from the sparkies at work and seems to last well. It usually comes in lengths of approx 20mm but can be easily snipped to length with a sharp blade or small wire cutters.

Seems as though you're looking for Drennan mixed float caps available online from Benwick Sports ...

Thanks for the advice, but they are made of silicone, I'm after the old fashioned rubber ones.

Thanks

I use Dave Harrell float rubbers. They come as a long length, like catapult elastic and come in different sizes. They you can cut your own, depending on the float.

I hate the new hard ones, they damage the floats and takes ages to work on.

Search - Dave Harrell Silicone Rubber Float And Rig Tube Mixed Sizes on eBay. They're the best I've ever used.

Marc is there a size you would recommend as a pretty close approximation to one size fits most?
