Edgar Sealey medium ledger refurb.

Post by Jeremy Croxall »

My latest refurb project is an Edgar Sealey medium ledger which came to me with its original bag and in poor cosmetic condition, It had been refurbished sometime previously although not very well and had two different whipping colours so a full strip was in order. I couldn't find a thread colour to match the original so chose a near alternative. This is the first Medium ledger I have come across and its a super little rod. I fitted a threaded tip ring so I can try swing tipping as I have never tried the method before.ImageImageImageImageImage
The cane on this rod is as good as any I've worked on before, it has good quality ferrules and looks to have been a very well built rod in its day. Should be good for another fifty years now!

It is Andy, but it's clearly faulty as I blanked :fingertap:
