A bit of a thread resurrection going on here...
I have one of these Medium Ledger rods that is earmarked as the next project but it has a feature that I have not seen on any of the Ledger range of rods, a screw reel seat.
Does anyone recollect seeing a screw reel seat on one before? It looks like it was on there from the beginning and is exactly the same as those fitted to spinning rods from the same stable.
I will try to get a photo on tonight.

Already sold my dear chum!
This is an old thread actually, the rod was sold almost two years ago.
They are a very nice rod, shortish and good for chubbing in tight swims. Why did I sell it......can't remember, probably shouldn't have!

Here is the one that I came across recently, resplendent with screw reel seat.
It does seem to balance well in the hand but you wouldn't want to hold it for hours as it's a bit on the heavy side.
Having looked at Jeremy's fine rod again I think a full cork handle might be called for when it gets a refurb.
If on the other hand, this type of seat was an original option, I would be happy to leave as is.
