Greetings to one and all, I have been here before but was never very active so lost my place, anyway I’ll try harder this time.
My name is Malcolm Ganderton, my friends call me Goose.
I have been fishing since I was an 8 years old boy living in Walthamstow, north London. Back then it was a question of riding my bike to either the river Lea or the ponds at Whipps Cross, happy days.
I’m now just coming up to my 66th birthday and during all those years of fishing I have done most of it, chasing big carp, specimen hunting, fly fishing, saltwater flyfishing, you name it, I was it.
Now days I’m much more of a Mr. Crabtree devotee and just love being out doors with a fishing rod and just happy to be buy the water, if I catch a fish, fantastic, if I don’t it’s still been a wonderful day.
So that’s me and I’m very grateful and honored that I have been accepted in to the brotherhood.
