Leszek is still continuing to fettle and build reels - but I concur with your sentiments gentlemen it is a great shame he is no longer a member of the TFF - and mores the pity......

I am working on two reels at the moment

Reel no1 with a glow in the dark backplate and aluminium spool
Image
Reel no2, spool made from Tufnol, made tha acrylic rings and handles from the same color, the backplate will be oak with a brass cross on the back

This reel i made before

I just read that Leszek has left the TFF , he was my hero and learned a lot from his posts. he is the master and will definitely be missed here
