Reel Pouch

Post by Jeremy Croxall »

I woke up this morning at 4.00am and thought... I'm going to make a reel pouch

I did intend to have a bash at it yesterday but things got in the way.

Whilst making the pouch for my catapult, it occurred to me that I may be able to use the same technique to make other items, so I crept downstairs, made a cup of tea and headed for the cellar.

After an hour I ended up with this:

I made the pouch large enough to accommodate both my narrow and wide drum Speedias, it will also take a fixed spool DAM 220

Now.......what next :eyebrow:
"Oh for want of rod and line I'd fish this stream serene, sublime".

I made something two very similar reel pouches Imagefrom an old NHS neophrene arm sling and the velcro bits left over from when my wife dislocated her shoulder. As I would expect from a craftsman like yourself, yours is more artistic!
