Any ideas for a replacement?

Just noticed that I posted the same question 9 years ago.
It would suggest that not having the cone does not hinder Delkims :Hahaha:

Result! I found someone on ebay selling them. I bought 2 so I have a spare for the 2035 season!

How did I miss this thread? A juicy bite alarm question and I didn't get to mention how much I dislike the Delkim warble :Sarcasm: I'm a Fox man :Sun:

I'm a newcomer to the Delkim warble Dave... (Jackie bought me a set for my birthday earlier in the month) gotta say I agree with you... but you can't beat the sensitivity of a Delkim... so on that count I can live with it... But I still love my old Optonics though... that quiet bleep still gets the old ticker pumping...😍😛
Just one more cast love, and I'll be on me way home

Yes, that was the one, couldn’t quite remember myself. Cheers!

This has just reminded me.I have a set of the Dellareed(Ithink) Optonics gathering dust.Must fish them out and see if they still work.Be nice to pair them with my SS6A's.
I have two Ghetto blaster drop off alarms I bought from Trevor Moss at Specialist Tackle about 1990.Still going strong to this day.I bet the electronics that are churned out today won't stand the test of time.Time will tell.

Remember seeing, was it Frank Samms, demonstrating the Dellareed alarms and buzzer bars at NASG/NASA do’s.
