New member from Holland

Post by Vanderpauw »

Hello everybody,

When I applied for membership of this community earlier this month I sent my credentials to the administrator, as requested, assuming they would pop-up in this place. But they didn't. I'm happy there is still room for personal initiative, so here they are.

J.L. (Hans) van der Pauw. Historian. Living in the far NW of Holland. Traditional angler for coarse fish in the style of Walker, Yates etc. Wouldn't even touch a boilie. Designed the Hardy 'Benelux IV Carp' rod way back in 1977 (a fast glass carp rod produced by Hardy's for the Benelux-countries). Contributor to various angling magazines, e.g. the quarterly 'Waterlog' (2012-2018), and websites, esp. realsreels.com. Writer of the (only) Dutch angling anthology: 'Tijdloos Sportvissen' (2006).

Happy to help out where I can. See you on the forum.

A hearty welcome to you! :Hat: I will send you a PM as I have a question that I cannot ask on the open forum, as it involves a Hardy rod that is neither cane or fibreglass!
