Another 500?

Post by Jeremy Croxall »

I just couldn't resist it.....there's just something special about a 500 isn't there?
I thought it looked like a decent rod and upon arrival it proved so to be, in original unrestored condition but with rusty rings.
Its an early gold label version, standard spec but I have re ringed it as a deluxe version and cheekily added the word deluxe to the blank
I have been working on it in my nice cool cellar during the past two days and it is now being varnished.
This will be a keeper, I have had them before and sold them and missed them :fingertap:
So I now have a standard spec 500 and a deluxe spec 500 to grace the rod rack :Thumb:
Huge thanks to Wal for helping me out with parts :Hat:
