:Hat: Thanks Olly. You have just reinforced what other Aero Wizard owners have said. I have made the decision to take it back to original and dispense with the glass tip section.

An update on the Aero Wizard.

I have just taken delivery of the rod after a full refurbishment by my good pal, Jeremy Croxall. It has now got a correct cane tip section, as recommended by TFF'ers, and the fibre glass section it came with has been ditched. I have to say that the action of the rod is absolutely superb and is easily comparable with the marvellous Andrew Davis Wallis Wizard that Jeremy owns. The rod is destined to be used a lot, so I can see a couple of my rods will need to be moved on, as they will just languish in the rack. The rod is really that good! :Thumb:

And now we come to the workmanship of Jeremy. Under the tutelage of Wal, Dr Cane, he has done an absolutely top class job, I know that his mentor would whole heartedly agree with that too. If ever he wanted to take on anyones refurbishment then I know the recipient would be delighted with the outcome. Jeremy, you are the new genius on the block. :Hat:

Absolutely wonderful Bob, they are a stunning piece of cane and I’m sure you will enjoy using it (with the butt extn). I had a feeling you were going to like the result too. As sure as eggs are eggs J.C. Has arrived.

Superb all round chaps.

Bob, that looks a stunning renovation job. Jeremy has done you proud mate.
I have seen many of Jeremy's restoration jobs over the years and they improve each time. This one shows how far he has come.
Very well done glasshopper.

Wal.
