I got my contributors' copies yesterday and a quick read through indicates a very good book. It's better than I expected.

Really enjoying this delightful book.Reminds me of long summer school holidays fishing for crucians and golden rudd from local brick pits and farm ponds, sadly no longer with us.Nice introduction from Chris Yates which shows his love of the crucians also stunning Hugh Miles photos.

My copy of Crucian Renaissance came today and tonight I read half a dozen chapters.

I must say that this book is one of the best books I have purchased in a long time, not just for the content but for the quality of the book also.

I’m not a big reader of angling books but I started last night and have to say that I’m enjoying it hugely. Can’t decide if the last chapter will just depress me though!

Book arrived today.
I purchased it as a celebration to the fact that whilst raking out a swim in a lake that I have fished for 20 plus years I came across 6 small crucians about 4 inches long.
Can’t wait to read the book and catch my first crucian from the lake.

Looks like they’re selling really well. Apparently, Wayne is posting them out at the rate of fifty a day!

I managed to place an order for the float
and tube. Which I believe sold out the same
evening.

I have a copy, but have only just browsed through it, but it will be on top of the list for the next book I read.

Was pleased to see my photo that appeared on the front cover of the crucian chronicle had a full page, the rod in the picture still proves to be a lucky rod for crucians.

Thats a really good photo Phil, it reminds me of one Sunday when I walked around the Moat and the light was just right revealing the crucians.

I've been trying to capture the beauty of the crucian myself through artwork, not easy.

A recent attempt:
