Welcome aboard Richard :Hat:
Not a fish was visible that first time I visited Beechmere; an utter
stillness brooded over the place and I felt the strange and sinister atmosphere which, so the story goes,
has been the cause of several suicides.’

The worst part about stripping them down were the worn heads on some of the tiny screws. They went back together ok though after a complete clean and lubrication. One of them was treated to a replacement bale-arm spring too.

Good afternoon and welcome to The TFF
I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as we all do.
Sounds like your well on your way, with skills to!

Mr B
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
