Carp at Fishers Green

Post by Corneybury »

In my role as volunteer at the new Wildlife Discovery Centre at Fishers Green, where everybody is trying to spot the Bittern in the reeds, I was far more interested when, walking across the Green bridge to the car park, I saw a number of very large carp rolling around in the current by the bushes. Spawning? I don’t think so as it was November. Any thoughts?

Herded in by an otter perhaps? They’re bold!
