Charity shop find and the generosity from a friend.

Post by Tonytoned »

Hello Everyone

Yesterday I had a quick check around the charity shops and came across this A History of Flyfishing by Conrad Voss Bark and actually signed by Conrad in February 1995 five years before his death.

Don't know who Ron Holloway was, although the name sounded familiar. Until I found out.

On Wednesday whilst fishing my friend who I fish with passed on to me a fly tying vice that he never used, so it looks practically brand new. With my recent venture back into fly fishing I'm looking forward to doing some fly tying.

I didn't tie the fly in the vice, I'm not that good yet!

Ron Holloway was quite a famous river keeper on the Itchen I believe. Also wrote a couple of books.
