Well it seems that the chap looking for the book is my acquaintances father... he's quite elderly and possibly read a chapter on Roach and confused the chapters author with the book author... thank you for looking chaps, I had a feeling that Peter Stone hadn't written a whole book on Roach...

Could be LA Parker 's book on Roach fishing. Possibly the best book on the subject!

I have some older books most of which refer to running water roach fishing where in many rivers they are or have been reduced in numbers.

Some of the latest books and information also refer to the current increase in the sizes and weights of stillwater roach and the tackle now required.
