New member Russell Brown (Shy Tangler)
Hello to all.I was inducted into this hallowed gathering a couple of days ago.I'm 65 and live it Watford,UK with a lady who keeps letting me buy old fishing reels.I particularly like oddballs and weirdos ( which are usually French reels) but generally,if a reel catches my eye I'll make a play for it.I have nothing specifically 'high end' but i do have a Hardy Exalta in very good condition, boxed with users folding pamphlet and spare spool.A favourite in my modest collection is an Ocean City 350 that has a unique and rather quirky line pick-up.I occasionally use my Allcocks Lucky Strike cane 'roach rod'.Last time out it became attached to a 22lb carp. How it didn't explode is something of a miracle.I've belonged to a small club lake in Herts for nearly 25 years and enjoy wandering into a colleague's swim and helping myself to tea, coffee, cake or whatever he's trying to hide in his tackle bag.No..........let's cut to the chase.........I'll throttle anyone for a bag of Frazzles.

Welcome aboard sir. Frazzles! Do they still make them?
