Great film. Don't remember that one at all. Trust Dick Walker to help the lad win.
But there was a lot of smoking going on in those days!

There were two Hargreaves programmes I always wanted to see (again in the second case), this one which is outstanding. I spoke to Dave Steuart today and he confirmed it was at Hampreston on the Stour - he's probably the last of the experts still alive. The second programme went out in 73 and features Phil Coles - whether that one will ever reappear is debatable but I live in hope.

What a lovely film.

Thats interesting.... (fantastic footage)
I posted this video on Sunday and it wasn't read.
There is no doubt that the Subject title is what catches the eye.
My one was rather boring.. "A lesson in Fishing from the best"
I really enjoyed it, great to see them all together and showing the kids how its done. Lovely.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Ditto Mr B, 'stellar cast, stellar tackle'. Clickbait may be a derogatory term but the importance of a title should never be under-valued. A lesson learned here anyway, catch your audience in the first couple of seconds. :Hat:
