I agree and having caught the same lower double 4 times in six weeks ( from a wide area )its true about multiple catches.
It was the method of delivery that the way in which the " suggestion" was delivered that I was concerned about! ( me being on a " borrowed" ticket reduced my argument)😀

Those were the days ,I was on a large ressie (well 2 ressies really...clue) and I had a visit as well, just hot air as it happened, but it was all part of the fun back in the day

I just had to read the rest of the story, so I just had a look at my lists and guess what ? I have no 8/9/10/11 but no number 7 which should be dec/jan, please if anyone has a copy that they are willing to sell I would be willing to pay £5 and £2 for postage.

I ‘guested’ that ressie, Ian, then found out I could fish it legit by joining a ‘free to employes’ association! Ticket also covered another res (well 2 really) just down the road.

The huge inlet pipe that forced a 2oz lead round in the flow and the significant walk to reach the prime spots on this inland "sea " made this a serious bit of water. I suspecf our ageing knees would object to the fully loaded approach march now!

We used to fish the rods by the water’s edge and sit up on the grass. If anything happened rod wise we’d jump down onto the concrete surround. No way now!
