Hello to all,

My name is Dave Fullerton. I live in Bristol UK. I have been retired for many years and took up or rather returned to fishing, using a couple of Avon MK IVs or a Goldendale Deluxe. I love the tranquility and back to my youth feeling (must be an age thing).
My fishing exploits have had to stop this year due to major surgery, but I’m recovering slowly and can’t wait to once again cast a line into the lake I visit.
Oh to be at my “Happy Place” where nothing matters but the being there.

Your enjoy the Forum Dave, a mine of information, an Encyclopaedia of traditional fishing and a great bunch of Anglers.
The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!

Welcome aboard Dave. Glad to hear the surgery was a success and I wish you a full and speedy recovery.
A days fishing now and again will certainly help you get back on your feet again.

Best wishes.
Wal.

:Hat: Welcome aboard Dave. I hope you are soon back out fish worrying. Getting old is a bitch, isn’t it?
