Re: Crucian Fishery Map
I could see what had happened the fish monger location amused me but I am but a simple minded yokel.
The list was interesting though, couple of places I was aware of but never fished that I might try next summer.
I fish eye kettleby maybe a dozen times a year, I was unaware that there were crucians stocked.

Does this work better on a computer screen? On my phone the map shows my nearest fish icon as a few miles from where I live, but the details of it refer to a water at least thirty miles away.

Re: Crucian Fishery Map
Sounds like an iffy postcode there, what venue is that?

Re: Crucian Fishery Map
It's Furnace Lakes in East Sussex, apparently, but it shows as just north of Steyning in West Sussex. The list of waters shows nothing else it's likely to be. A shame, as I'd definitely have looked it up. Actually, the icon is very near another water I go to occasionally - Alderwood Ponds. Their website doesn't mention crucians, though.

Pulborough Angling Society has lakes at Goose Green, near Ashington, West Sussex, which contain crucians, but I have no idea what category they would come under.

Re: Crucian Fishery Map
This one was caught from there September 2017, not a monster but I had a few. I saw one caught by another angler that I would estimate at 1.08. They look 'alright' crucians to me.Homer Simpson wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:49 am I could see what had happened the fish monger location amused me but I am but a simple minded yokel.

Re: Crucian Fishery Map
I see that Stockton reservoir is listed as 'U', "Likely to contain crucians", am I right? If so, it's wrong as it contains stacks of them.

Re: Crucian Fishery Map
'u': 'Ungraded' -- Claimed to contain crucians but recent captures rare or unverified, stocking history unknown, may no longer contain crucians or those claimed are actually F1s, goldfish or hybrids. Awaiting further information.
