I have just spoken to John Chapman and he says they never made a bamboo 650. That's good enough for me....

He is still adamant it is genuine!!

Care if ever buying from him I think is required!

It’s now re-listed “price reduced for Christmas” :Hahaha: :Hahaha:

If he gets it down to a tenner, I might be tempted if only so as we can all take a close look at it! As a bitsa rod, it looks reasonably well put together!

This one could run longer than Alastair Sim’s “A Christmas Carol”!
