Using the Guides is a good indicator of production years but they aren't without fault. I don't know who oversaw them, but he wasn't always diligent.

For example the slow movement each year of the illustrations of the Holdwell and the Lucky Strike until they swapped over completely. After the Holdwell was apparently withdrawn, the Luck Strike was left illustrated by a Holdwell!

ImageImageImageImageDoes anyone have any idea what model this is? It's in a second hand shop for £25 but it needs total restoration. It looks like whole cane with a fibreglass tip section. Worth rescuing or not?
