Interesting that the cane version of the Holdwell is only listed as 11' rather than 11 and 12. It may be short lived in the early or late 50s. Always interesting to know the history and origins of our tackle.

The Holdwell:
1953 - 11'
1955 - 11' & 12'
1956 - 11' & 12'
1962 - 10½' & 12' (fibreglass top section, same catalogue code)
Looks like the 12' length was introduced pretty quickly.
