Back to harder times

Post by TrentFisher »

Last week saw me back on the trent long trotting the long glide.
The fishing was really good 7 bream (4-6lb bracket) and 5 chub all around 4lb.

Today was going to harder. The weather turning cooler and the river a little clearer and so it was.
Fishing from around 12.30 with 15mm punched bread discs and mash bread
It was just after four before I connected with first fish,a bream of around 5lb.
It was gone five when next one arrive another bream of a similar size.

Over the last four outings in this swim it has produced 9 chub and 9 bream.Average weight per outing approx 20lb.

So very pleased with that to say the least.

Lets see what the last few weeks of river season have in stall.

All the best -Nige.
