The weather has been quite humid so far this year so yes, a good midge net will be priority.
If I survived the apocalypse only to discover i didn’t have at least one teal and black in my fly wallet? well I’d end it all Santiago 😜.
Don’t cast doubt,cast out.

I have two midge head nets as I know I'll need one and how essential they are. Problem is , is that it's hard to fish wearing them, and last year I had to stop fishing just when the conditions were perfect as the light started to fall because the midge clouds were so thick I could barely see through the net and the midges .

I have to conclude that fishing down south is very cosy compared to the Highlands .

Good luck with your trip to Scotland, it will be nice to catch on flies/lures that you have tied yourself! :Thumb:
