Good morning gents,
I have just received a book I have wanted for a long time now, and am very pleased with it for the price and am looking forward to reading it.
(Why I didn't have this book is almost unforgivable!)
Any way it has two pages missing..
It doesn't take away any of its reading.
I suspect it might have been a library book or it was signed and had some sentimental value or even an autograph.
I would be interested in a photo of the two pages that have been removed if possible.

Y copy is the revised fourth edition from 1977, I suspect yours must be earlier?

My one is the 3rd Addition.

I suppose each addition would be different.

There are clearly big differences between our editions.
Your plate of the carp in London Zoo does not exist in my book.
Instead, there’s a plate of Walker with Clarissa / Ravioli on page 67.
So I’m afraid my edition is no help!

Thanks thats fine Banksy, they probably all differ in some ways.. Dick mentioned that in the forward talking about a new addition.
I have a few of his other books so I would think thats the same.
Great book though, I had a job putting it down earlier but I had to do some work!

In my edition there is a short section on his opinion of closed face reels, which is priceless! Classic Walker, no punches pulled.
