hello from drefach velindre
good evening all and thanks for having me.
originally from Hampshire i moved here 40 years ago. went to the Famous Cenarth Falls one morning in 1982, and as we paked up noticed a guy with rod bent doing battle with something big and shiny, moments later a stunning 12 pound salmon was the prize. The chap who caught it was using a 12ft cane rod and an allcocks aerial reel - the seed was planted, and i was well and truly hooked!!
I really enjoy using the older tackle and look forward to some interesting conversations.

Welcome aboard.

Pull up a pew by the fire, pour a favourite tipple and enjoy the banter…

What do they know of fishing who know only one fish and one way to fish for him?
