Cherrywood & silver..

Post by Watermole+ »

I haven't posted anything 'constructive' for a while so, "here's one I made earlier!" for your perusal -and really hoping that the owner will not mind..?

Made last year with Polish theme throughout for a very special angler using very special materials, all imported from Poland.

The wood used is either black cherry or white cherry, nearly all the metalwork is silver or nickel-silver and with pearl winders.

Line drum is 3 7/8" diameter, 5/8" wide.

Beautiful Leszek.
No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it's not the same river and he's not the same man.

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.

Thats not fair? Thats wrong!
No.... absolutely marvellous!!!
We can but drawl over that masterpiece.
Thanks for sharing that with us.

The close season is an important and interesting time for the Angler who set out to catch big fish. It is a timely opportunity for him to make new tackle or renovate old. There are no end of jobs to do, apart from those horrible things called Gardens!
