Hello from Norfolk
Just a quick introduction. Senior in years, but still active. Angling for crucians and tench in some lovely bespoke fisheries up here, with my trust but rusty Trudex and some classic ABU fixed spool reels.
I have quit an interest in home made equipment as - back in the day - we were not spoiled with such an array of toys as the young of today are.
Hand made floats and their construction, restoration of reels and their provenance.
I have fished for large barbel and carp in the past with my trudex, so it does bare some lovely battle scars.
Looking forward to reading and learning.
Paul

There are three things that improve with age: wine, friendship and water sense, and there's no short cut.
