I have a Brady Gelderburn but I bought it when they were £65 not £200. In all honesty I wouldn't buy one now. I'd either use a creel if you want to be traditional or I think I'd find something modern that was what you needed but that looked ok. For example I have a big Snowbee boat bag for trout fishing afloat. It was relatively cheap, it's very well thought out and made. I'd look to see what smaller bags they do.

My Gelderburn was hopeless afloat. Far too small and it would get soaked right through if it was rough.

For my Barbel and Chub roving use a Barbour bag but agree with the others would not pay today's new prices.

My Sainsbury bag is still very useful

Billingham bags make lovely camera bags. They look like Brady fishing bags but are bigger and cheaper for what you get.

I've seen your Sainsbury's bag Bumble, and it's very nice, but I must say I prefer my Lakeland plastic bag

The old army backpacks are very good, but I have to admit the old 1960s postman' s bag is superb :Thumb:

I'm a sucker for 70's Shakespeare bags.

I've got 5 of them

I wish I still had my Grandads ARP Warden gas-mask bag. Best one I ever had.

Ex army bags for me too. Got a lovely old canvas gas mask bag, ideal for my style of fishing, used to lug a huge great modern thing around unroll one day I realised I didn't need to haul every single bit of tackle I own just for a couple of hours fishing.
