Restore or not to Restore

Well here's a snapshot of my Humpback Legend, and I think i've done the right thing to preserve for future Anglers Image professionally restored by Simon Russell

The answer to the the question lies within the image simply wonderful.
Always always restore if possible the soul of anything is with the original builder restoring simply makes it available to another generation to enjoy fantastic work

The level of skill out there with people restoring reels, rods and making floats constantly amazes me. Now I want all my ambidexes to look like that, simply stunning.
