Monday 2nd Jan on the Teme

Well, I have just spoken to a good friend of mine who has invited me out for a day fishing on the Teme on Monday. How could I refuse? I am opening this thread now in anticipation of a new year of angling and I will report our success or failure as soon as I can!
Early to bed tonight as I have much preparation to do tomorrow!

Trip was postponed due to car problems :brickwall: Will be out later in the week if possible. I hear that the water levels are very high now and really pushing through on the narrower stretches.
I don't have tackle to cope with full floodwater and, to be honest, I don't really enjoy fishing in those conditions.
All my gear is ready and waiting by the back door so I will be off at the first sign of blue in the sky! Even if it is to the canal:thumb:
