I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete.

I think Hedge like many of us chooses to live in the past where as we use cane instead of carbon he uses Pigeons, the pony express and possibly the worst mobile phone in the world for communication
Perception is a powerful tool and should never be underestimated when the need to contact you arises he always finds away using multiple 21st century mediums.

He told me he bought a laptop under pressure from the world, but threw it away after a fortnight, said it was useless and if he wants to find anything out, he goes to the library.

Pigeons and the pony express would probably be better than his phones Bumble!. ........Bumble wrote: and possibly the worst mobile phone in the world for communication

I managed to speak to Jason and, as he is coming to Christchurch next week, he will be collecting his mislaid bank stick then.Champ wrote:Trammels you have a PM.Yes its Jasons stick. The photo was taken when we were fishing at a local stillwater a couple of years ago.I cant remember wether i took it or Jason did.Ive let him know that you have it.Many thanks on his behalf .
Thanks for everyones help, in particular, Champ who provided the final missing clue.

Excellent! I did get a message to the man who works next to Jason, but he's not in work until Thursday.
