Ogden Smith Arun with metal reel seat
Has anyone come across an Arun with a metal reel seat as opposed to sliding reel bands on the cork handle ? Thanks Badger.

Re: Ogden Smith Arun with metal reel seat
I spent weeks looking through for information on Ogden Smith rods while looking for info on yarrow rod, I know next to nothing about vintage tackle but in all my searching I never came across anything other than sliding reel bands to secure a reel to the rod. I'm sure someone else can tell you when this method of reel attachment was first used.
I go fishing not to find myself but to lose myself.

Re: Ogden Smith Arun with metal reel seat
I could understand a Marco Arun with a sliding reel seat - but an Ogden Smiths?
