An old man, who's only pleasure left in life, is sitting by some water, fiddling with his maggots?

Re: The "Maxima"
This reel has two drum circumferences as the spool can be split and the cork arbour removed. With it left in place it has a mighty fourteen inch retrieve per turn!
I caught my first carp on a centrepin with one...a 2lb wildie in a drain.

Re: The "Maxima"
Nobby, you must have had arms of steel, to hold this monster, for any length of time, some one on here once called them dinner plates, and I would not disagree with them. When I measured this one, I did not bother to take it apart to check it without the cork liner, but I do have one with the liner missing, so will measure that and amend the listing, to show both set of figures.

Nobby, have amended the listing, showing the difference with and without the cork liner.
