Really enjoyed that, so much history and change associated with a river that was obviously important in the past but is overshadowed by the Thames.

Fascinating, the end shot of part one is 100 yards upstream from where I live, the first shot in part two is the bridge over the river at Stanstead Abbotts, 50 yards from where I live. Sadly it is not the river it once was, but you can say that about many rivers these days!

Particularly interesting to see the source of the river, often thought about seeing how far upstream I could catch a fish from, having fished numerous areas between Wheathamstead and Waltham Cross.
