No Need to Lie (Dick Walker)
Hello Everyone
Found this copy of 'No need to lie' at Mottisfont Abbey second hand book shop today. Almost missed it as I walked out of the shop. Hopefully I've done alright, it is a good condition and looks like a first edition.

Oh nice find . I didn't even realise there was a bookshop there . I guess the times I've been there been mostly looking round the gardens and the river full of fish .

I have read my copy every year since it was bought for me in 1964 / 65 - my desert island book choice.

I have been fortunate enough to fish the swim on the Kennet where Walker lost his monster barbel being one of the stories in the book albeit I only managed a modest Chub but a privilege indeed.Tonytoned wrote: ↑Fri Jan 05, 2018 10:52 pmI can see why. A lovely book. Good price1. A few years back they were fetching silly money!
