hiya I ve just joined names eric (barbel) from Cheshire I fished for barbel for a number of years up to around 5 years or so but trying to make it back again also I like tench although I have nt had that many but at the moment both are of the menu at the moment so I m having a go for a few chub of the river dane . I prefer river fishing . I had a cane rod made for me around 20 years ago christened it with a 6 lb er of the river dove well that's a bit about me just wanted to say hello .

Well done Eric - this a fabulous forum and there is so much learning for us all. I think that you will beat all your PB's if you get involved with the TFF.
Trouble is, the fish just don't read the books......
